I would like to share some websites, videos and books I use when I knit. There are tons of free pattern websites and places to get various infos.

- initiative-handarbeit.de: A german website with a lot of free patterns, not only for sewing but also knitting, crochet and embroidery as well as a few other techniques. you can either directly read the pattern on the website or print it out for yourself. They also have an encyclopedia on their website to help you with various terms. There sadly is no English translation.
- yarnsub.com: If you found a pattern that uses a certain type of yarn and you don't really wanna have to go on the hunt for a yarn that is more accessible for you, then this website is super helpful. As the name might preface, when you enter a certain brand and type of yarn, it'll recommend some suitable substitutions. This is super helpful for me since there are a lot of things that aren't shipped into Switzerland, and I can then look for yarns that are.
