Animal Crossing

Animal Crossing is a game I've been playing for as long as I can remember. I started with City Folk and then continued with New Leaf. I would spend soo much time playing New Leaf as a child and teen. It is still such a sweet memory. When New Horizon came out in 2020 I was so excited. During lockdown I would play NH every free second I got and racked up more than 1200 hours in a few months. It helped me cope with so many issues and I personally have a really emotional connection to this game series. Especially to the last two releases because I could escape to the virtual worlds during hard times in my life.

Anyway, this felt like one of these weird recipe prethingies where the author tells you an endless story about a dish and the recipe will be like "heat oven to 200 degrees and wait for 40 minutes" lol. On this page I will show you my various ingame screenshots, designs and ways to connect in game as well as various resources I use when I play the game.

Pocket Camp

Between New Leaf and New Horizon, I played a lot of Pocket Camp, it still is the one I play regularly since it's on my phone and there are monthly updates. I bought it once the version was changed from freemium to just one-time purchase, which makes up for me never buying into microtransactions.

  • nookazon.com: This is a trading website where you can find various ingame items. You trade with your ingame items such as furniture, clothing, tickets and bells. Neverever pay with real money, not only due to security concern but also due to the fact that it's simply not worth it.
  • nookipedia.com: This is a fanwiki for Animal Crossing. I prefer this one because there are no ads and I think it's strutured very well.

I got most of the graphics on this page from Nookipedia.
